Primary 5 Boys' Inter-House Soccer 2014 during recess



Primary 5 Boys' Inter-House Soccer during recess - Closing Date 30th July 2014


The theme for this tournament is Kick Drugs out of our life!

i) There must be a minimum of 5 pupils. You may register up to 7 pupils. Remember, if you submit 7 players you will get 70 registration points as compared to 5 pupils...

ii) Each house may submit up to three teams. For example, if Blue House submits three teams, their team names will be changed to Blue House 1 and Blue House 2 etc

iii) Each registration will be awarded ten points towards the overall house points.

iv) If you are punished by your teacher for any reason and held back during recess, ie not submitting your homework, not paying attention in class etc, you will not be allowed to represent your house for that game.

v)Throw ins are not allowed. Only kick-ins are allowed. Click here for more rules.

vi)These will be self-refereeing games. Each team has to abide by all rules and settle disputes among themselves. They may consult the PE teachers if they wish to clarify certain matters but the final decisions are to be made by the two teams.

vii) These games will be using a league table format where a win will give you three points and a draw will give you one point. A better goal difference will be used to determine the winner if teams have the same number of points at the end of the inter-house games.

 vii) At any one time during the game there should be a minimum of 2 girls playing. You may have to register at least 3 girls so that if one gets injured you will still be able to have 2 girls playing.

 ix) Each game's duration is ten minutes. There are no halves.

x) Team captain's must get their team ready and come up by Staircase 2 (near the table tennis tables) with their whole team and get them seated and organised and wait outside the ISH. Supporters if allowed are to be seated at the seating gallery.

xi) The playing area is two badminton courts.

Looking for 'live' commentators for P5 and P6 inter house soccer.

Do you have a passion for live commentary for sports and games? Do you want to emcee a live soccer match during recess? We are looking for pupils who are confident in speaking in English or Chinese to commentate live on the soccer matches taking place during recess. 50 points will be awarded for your participation! You may also commentate live with a friend.

 If you are interested, please type in your name, class and house in the comments section of this post. This is only open for P3 to P6 pupils.

P.S. You are still allowed to take part in the interhouse games even if you sign up for this.
