Primary 5 Boys' Inter-House Soccer during recess

Registration closes on Monday 8th November 5pm.

i) There must be a minimum of 5 pupils. You may register up to 7 pupils. Remember, if you submit 7 players you will get 7 registration points as compared to 5 pupils...

ii) Each house can submit up to two teams. For example, if Blue House submits two teams, their team names will be changed to Blue House 1 and Blue House 2

iii) Each registration will be awarded one point towards the overall house points.


iv) If you are punished by your teacher for any reason and held back during recess, ie not submitting your homework, not paying attention in class etc, you will not be allowed to represent your house for any game.

v)Throw ins are not allowed. Only kick-ins are allowed.

vi)These will be self-refereeing games. Each team has to abide by all rules and settle disputes among themselves. They may consult the PE teachers if they wish to clarify certain matters but the final decisions are to be made by the two teams.


vii) These games will be using a league table format where a win will give you three points and a draw will give you one point. A better goal difference will be used to determine the winner if teams have the same number of points at the end of the inter-house games.

Fixtures for P6 Captain's Ball are out.

1) Team captain, please make sure your team reports to the ISH on time.

2) Each game will be played for 10 minutes. (fewer minutes if the team comes late)

3) Pupils who are punished for any reason by their teachers will not be allowed to participate in the tournament.

4) Volunteer referees please report with a yellow sash each. (Players orange sashes)

4) After all the games are played and the league tables have been updated, these will be the points awarded below. (Please remember for each game won 3 points will be awarded at the league table. A draw will score you 1 point. We are also looking at goal difference)

Updates on Inter-house recess games - Monday briefing.

Dear P6 pupils,

here are a few updates.

1) Thank you for registering. As agreed by all of you, each registration will be given one point per participant to add on to the house points.

2) Inter-House soccer for the girls has been cancelled due to not having the minimum number of teams. The team captain of red house, please register for mixed frisbee. Your whole team (all girls) may represent Red House.

3) Mixed Basketball and Mixed Frisbee have been confirmed. The schedule will be out after the short briefing on Monday.

3) All captains who have registered, please see me on Monday, 16th August during recess outside the school attendant's area (near the red computer terminals at the canteen) at 1005am for a short briefing.

i) There must be a minimum of 5 pupils of different genders. You may also register two substitues.

ii) Each house can submit up to three teams. For example, if Blue House submits two teams, their team names will be changed to Blue House 1 and Blue House 2. There must be a minimum of four different houses for the tournament to take place.

iii) Pupils are only allowed to register to represent one team sport.

iv) If you are punished by your teacher for any reason and held back during recess, ie not submitting your homework, not paying attention in class etc, you will not be allowed to represent your house for any game.

v) Once the confirmed schedule is out, the games will start at 1005am and each game will only have a duration of 10 minutes during recess.

vi) Basketball games will only be carried out at half-court.

vii)These games are self-refereeing. Each team has to abide by all rules and settle disputes among themselves. They may consult the PE teachers if they wish to clarify certain matters but the final decisions are to be made by the two teams.
